Veterinary Technician

Animal Hospital at Babcock is the leading provider of  veterinary care in Southwest Florida for all wellness and sick care. We are currently hiring for the following positions:
  • Veterinary Technician General Practice 
Technician duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Acquisition of history and vitals
  • Assisting doctors with exams using humane and safe patient restraint
  • Venipuncture, intravenous and urinary catheters
  • Laboratory, radiology (IDEXX equipment)
  • Calculate and administer medications including injections and CRI's
  • Perform anesthesia and assist in procedures.
  • Keep accurate and detailed medical records, including accurate invoicing. Experience with Cornerstone practice software is helpful, but not required.
  • Accurately fill prescriptions
  • Client communication
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday Thru Friday No Weekends 
  • Day shift 8am to 5pm with 1 hour block for lunch

Education:
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
  • Veterinary experience: 3 year (Preferred)

$18$21 USD
