Client Pricing Analyst - Remote
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Client Pricing Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and analyzing pricing strategies for our veterinary products and services. This role involves evaluating market trends, conducting competitive analyses, and working cross-functionally with field operations, finance, marketing, and procurement teams to optimize pricing structures. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of veterinary market dynamics, practice management systems and terminology, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pricing Strategy Development:
- Analyze market trends, competitive pricing, and customer demand to develop and recommend pricing strategies for veterinary products and services.
- Conduct pricing research and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret pricing data and market trends to inform decision-making.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on pricing performance, market dynamics, and revenue impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with field operations, finance, marketing, and procurement teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives and market needs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support pricing decisions and promotional activities.
Pricing Optimization:
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of current pricing strategies and make recommendations for adjustments based on performance metrics.
- Implement pricing models and tools to enhance pricing accuracy and efficiency.
Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and threats.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies affecting veterinary pricing.
Project Management:
- Lead and participate in projects related to pricing strategy development, market research, and pricing system enhancements.
- Ensure timely and effective execution of pricing initiatives and adjustments.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in pricing analysis, preferably within the veterinary or healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of veterinary software systems.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, data visualization tools).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
PREFERENCES:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in veterinary medicine, with 1+ years in a leadership role preferred.
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent certification.
- Higher education background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
