Position Overview

Join our team as an Emergency Veterinary Technician Supervisor who performs the duties of medical technical staff (e.g., technicians and assistants) as well as scheduling and supervising the staff of the assigned department. Expedites the care and efficiency of the department. In charge of patient care standards for the department. Must lead the team by example, demonstrating organizational skills, following company policies, and maintaining a professional attitude.
 
Animal Emergency Clinic O'Fallon in O'Fallon, Missouri is a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital that has been a trusted lifeline for pet owners across the St. Louis region for nearly 40 years, offering after-hours and emergency care when pets need it most. The O'Fallon location stands out with advanced surgical capabilities including soft tissue, orthopedic, and ocular procedures — and is one of the few emergency clinics in the area to also provide emergency care for exotic pets

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billing
  • Collect and process work charts
  • Assist with entering in-patient charges and/or procedures performed in billing system
  • Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors
  • Process payments and monthly statements
  • Resolve escalated financial problems with clients, collecting delinquent accounts and "NSF'” checks; determines when special financial agreements are appropriate
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable
  • Prepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers as requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Be dependable and punctual

Qualifications (Required)

  • 2+ years of experience in leadership

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • RVT/CVT/LVT preferred
  • 2+ years leading Veterinary Support staff
  • Willing to work in the role of Veterinary Technician or Assistant.

Pay Range
$30$33 USD
