The Animal Medical Center of New England (AMCNE), one of the leading veterinary hospitals in the region, is seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Specialist to join our collaborative and compassionate team. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, treat, and manage complex internal medical cases for companion animals.
- Collaborate with general practitioners and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Mentor and educate veterinary technicians and other support staff.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Stay current with the latest veterinary research and medical advances to provide the best care for patients.
- Contribute to the hospital’s commitment to community education and outreach.
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Board certification or board-eligible in Internal Medicine (ACVIM or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and surgical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both with clients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and supportive environment.
- Passion for providing the highest standard of care and a commitment to the well-being of animals.
