Care Coordinator
PetVet Care Centers' Brandon Equine Medical Center is currently seeking a Care Coordinator to join their team!
Position Overview
- The Care Coordinator contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Must possess good critical thinking and problem-solving skills, compassion, a positive attitude, follow-through and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Multi-tasking and accepting constructive criticism is essential. Punctuality is expected.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Collect payments, verify invoices are completed.
- Communicate with clients regarding labs.
- Answer and triage phone calls.
- Schedule confirm appointments along with printing appointment schedules including travel times.
- Maintain proper client and patient information in practice management software (HVMS).
- Assist in paperwork regarding patient care, wellness plans, and financial contracts.
- Relay appropriate information to/from clients to doctors and/or management.
- Prepare and track samples for shipping.to all labs.
- Get approval and submit online pharmacy prescription requests.
- Maintain/order office and hospital supplies and stocking.
- Maintain a neat and orderly front office along with ordering and stocking items from Staples account.
Qualifications:
- Required basic horse knowledge and equine knowledge base.
- Customer Service Experience required.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Excellent math and writing skills.
- Computer skills: Able to use Windows based computer system, email, practice management software (HVMS), word-processing and excel.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated.
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm.
