$1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS for qualified licensed technicians paid in two installments after 60 days and 6 months of successful employment!
 
Located in North Carolina, but looking to move or commute. We can help you get your licensure in South Carolina!

Position Overview:

Join our team as a Licensed Veterinary Technician who supports hospital operations by providing dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service to our patients and clients. Responsibilities include providing patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations and diagnostic procedures, assisting during surgery and operations, providing nursing care, assisting with feeding and caring for patients, maintaining medical supplies and equipment, overseeing triage and discharging patients, and maintaining patient medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient exams, collect samples, run lab tests, and assist in diagnostics.
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications/vaccines, and care for hospitalized patients.
  • Assist veterinarians in surgery and treatments, including prepping equipment and restraining animals.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate updates to pet owners as directed.
  • Ensure cleanliness of cages, treatment areas, and surgical tools; manage medical inventory.
  • Dispense medications, including controlled substances, following proper protocols.
  • Participate in discharge procedures, ensuring patients are clean, groomed, and ready to go home.
  • Uphold safety, hygiene, and legal compliance throughout all areas of care.

What We're Looking For:

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, or RVT) — required
  • At least 1 year of experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education/experience)

  • Adherence to Rules and Instructions: Consistently follows standard procedures. 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Required to be Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). 
  • Preferably with at least one year experience in hospital with a focus in surgery.

Pay Range
$19$23.23 USD
