Part Time Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) & Administrative Support - Heart of Georgia Animal Care

Position Overview:
Join our team as a Care Coordinator & Administrative Support who contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital. Within the veterinary field, this position aligns closely with roles often titled Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist.
Heart of Georgia Animal Care in Milledgeville, Georgia, is a full-service veterinary provider committed to delivering comprehensive, compassionate care for pets. With a focus on quality medicine and client relationships, the team works to support pets’ health at every stage of life.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional client service by greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with patient check-in and check-out
- Support daily hospital operations by assisting with administrative tasks and special projects
- Assist the Hospital Manager with organization, reporting, communication, and workflow improvements
- Maintain and help organize digital records, schedules, and internal communications
- Assist with team communication through Microsoft Teams and Outlook
- Help track basic data or reports using Microsoft Excel
- Assist with social media updates, marketing ideas, and online engagement for the hospital
- Cross-train in various hospital roles to better understand workflow and support the team where needed
- Help ensure a welcoming, efficient environment for clients, patients, and team members
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experience in a veterinary clinic, medical office, or client service role
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Excel
- Interest or experience in social media marketing or content creation
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
Preferred Experience
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using technology and office software
- A strong communicator who works well with a team
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks
- Positive, professional, and eager to learn
Schedule
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm
