Veterinary Housekeeper (Part-time)

PetVet Care Centers' New England Veterinary Center & Cancer Center is currently seeking a Veterinary Housekeeper (Part-Time) to join their team!

Tasks include but not limited to:  

  • Ensure the cleanliness of the hospital including common areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming hospital and office floors
  • Laundry
  • Trash collection
  • Restocking supplies
  • Cleaning hospital grounds including dog walking lot removal of trash, feces and cigarette debris
  • Ensuring cages and runs including drains, grates and padding are cleaned daily and as needed
  • Reporting any broken equipment or hazardous situations to Hospital Manager or other Supervisor
  • Clean public and employee restrooms
  • Clean windows weekly to biweekly or as needed to maintain cleanliness
  • Other hospital cleaning, maintenance projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:  

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education, and/or experience.  
  • Must have housekeeping experience
  • Preferably with experience in commercial housekeeping
  • Able to do tasks that may involve extended periods standing and/or walking
  • Must be able to perform some moderately physically demanding work, involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling or carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work around sick animals, cleaning chemicals, and unpleasant odors

Schedule:

  • Part-Time
  • Sunday, Monday, Thursday & Friday from 11am- 5pm 
Pay Range
$17$17 USD
