- Conduct in-person outreach and relationship-building visits with veterinary clinics across the region to strengthen engagement and identify new referral opportunities.
- Represent Carolina Veterinary Specialists at veterinary conferences, local events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Analyze referral trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and recommend growth initiatives that impact hospital performance and market expansion.
- Develop and maintain referral performance dashboards and reporting to monitor referral volume, partner engagement, and program effectiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hospital leadership, operations teams, and medical staff to optimize referral workflows and communication.
- Identify and address referral leakage or barriers within the referral process and implement solutions to improve conversion and satisfaction.
- Educate internal teams on referral best practices and relationship management strategies.
- Execute targeted outreach campaigns and service education initiatives to increase awareness of specialty services and drive new referrals.
- Exercise independent judgment in developing outreach strategies, prioritizing referral partnerships, and determining engagement initiatives that support hospital growth and service expansion.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of relationship-building expertise, strategic thinking, and community engagement experience, along with a passion for supporting the veterinary profession.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience developing or managing referral networks, partnership programs, or business development initiatives
