Position Overview

PetVet is seeking a Director, PMO to lead a critical enterprise standardization initiative across its network of hospitals. This role will be responsible for driving structured program execution across a complex, cross-functional environment, with a focus on aligning processes, improving consistency, and enabling scalable operations. 

This leader will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering with senior stakeholders to translate broad objectives into actionable plans, while ensuring disciplined delivery and measurable outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program management for a large-scale enterprise initiative, including planning, execution, risk management, and executive communication.  
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to define and implement standardized approaches across a distributed operating environment.  
  • Facilitate structured working sessions to support decision-making, clarify requirements, and advance program milestones.  
  • Translate complex business needs and system considerations into practical, scalable solutions.  
  • Oversee phased implementation efforts, including pilot design, rollout planning, and adoption support.  
  • Establish governance structures, success metrics, and operating routines to sustain long-term impact.  
  • Provide clear visibility into program progress, risks, and outcomes for senior leadership.

Key Stakeholders: Operations, Clinical Leadership, Technology, and Corporate Functions

Qualifications (Required)

  • 8–10+ years of experience in program management, transformation, consulting, or related leadership roles.  
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in dynamic environments.  
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.  
  • Experience driving structured problem solving, process improvement, and operating model evolution.  
  • Familiarity with phased delivery approaches and large-scale implementation efforts.  
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.  
  • Strong organizational discipline and a results-oriented mindset.  

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience.  
  • Background in healthcare, veterinary services, or multi-site service organizations.  
  • Exposure to enterprise systems, data structures, or standardization initiatives.  
  • Experience supporting organizational change in decentralized environments.
