Veterinary Technician

Animal Care Extraordinaire is currently seeking Veterinary Technician to join their team. The Veterinary Technician supports hospital operations by delivering high-quality patient care and excellent client service. This role includes assisting with exams, diagnostics, surgery, nursing care, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Conduct patient assessments, exams, lab tests, and diagnostic imaging

Provide care including vitals, sample collection, medications, and wound treatment

Assist veterinarians during exams and surgeries; prepare and handle patients

Maintain patient comfort, feeding, cleanliness, and monitor for health changes

Administer and manage medications, including controlled substances

Keep facilities clean, sterile, and compliant with safety regulations

Maintain accurate medical records and update databases

Communicate patient updates to pet owners as directed

Manage equipment, inventory, and supply orders

Discharge patients and ensure they are clean and ready to go home

Follow directions and perform additional duties as assigned

High school diploma or GED.

Skilled technician (CVT preferred but not required) with minimum 1 year surgical and general practice experience.

Must be confident in skills such as venipuncture, injections/medication administration, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, etc.

May consider an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experiences

Monday-Thursday 8:30AM-5:30PM

Potential to pick up Friday/weekend shifts
