Job Description: Bel Marin Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to join our team as a Medical Director and primary surgeon. In addition to leading our medical team, the ideal candidate will be hands-on in providing quality care to our patients, conducting examinations, and performing surgeries.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Medical Director, providing leadership and direction to our veterinary team.
- Conduct comprehensive examinations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop tailored treatment plans for patients.
- Perform surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, and soft tissue surgeries, with precision and care.
- Oversee the management of medical cases, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatments.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff members.
- Participate in staff training, continuing education, and mentorship programs.
