Customer Service Representative – Emergency Department (Part-Time)
Location: Carolina Veterinary Specialists – Matthews, NC
Schedule: Tuesday evenings, Saturday & Sunday mornings
Pay: range: $15.00 – $19.00 based on experience
About the Role
Carolina Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Part-Time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our Emergency Team in Matthews, NC!
As the first point of contact for our clients, our CSRs play a vital role in creating a compassionate and professional experience for both pet owners and their beloved animals. You’ll work closely with our medical staff to ensure seamless communication, comfort, and support—especially during stressful or emergency situations.
This position involves a variety of administrative and client-facing responsibilities, helping keep our hospital running smoothly while maintaining the highest level of service and care.
Note: Emergency CSR shifts primarily include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Who We’re Looking For
An ideal candidate will have:
- A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for providing an exceptional client experience
- Strong emotional intelligence and professionalism under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine love for pets and their families
- The ability to sit, stand, bend, and kneel as needed, and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, reception, or administrative work

- Tuesday Evening - 2pm to 10pm to 5pm to 12am
- Saturday Morning – 7am to 4pm Sunday Morning – 7am to 4pm
Experience Required:
