Cascade Veterinary Referral Center- Urgent Care Veterinarian
Position Overview:
Come join our growing team at Cascade Veterinary Referral Center as we expand our support to the community with an Urgent Care team! Located in Tigard, Oregon, Cascade Veterinary Referral Center is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our dynamic team. As an Urgent Care Veterinarian, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to pets in need of urgent medical attention. This position requires at least 2 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian. You will work together with our specialty veterinarians and continue to grow in your career, along with our hospital.

At Cascade Veterinary Referral Center, you would be joining medical director, Dr. Stephanie Wan, DACVIM (SAIM) and Dr. John Wagner, Practice Limited to Small Animal Surgery.
Dr. Stephanie Wan completed her Internal Medicine residency in 2013 and since then has worked as an internist in Richmond, VA, Portland, OR, and Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Wan joined Cascade Veterinary Referral Center in 2023. She enjoys all aspects of small animal internal medicine. Her focus is helping pets and family by closely collaborating with their family veterinarians.
Dr. John Wagner enjoys orthopedic, neurologic, and soft tissue surgery and has a special interest in rehabilitation and regenerative therapies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent and emergency medical care to patients with primary focus on urgent care cases.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions and injuries.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Active veterinary license in the state of Oregon.
- Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience in general practice or urgent care setting.
- Strong diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $130,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience.
