Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Specialist to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for the maintenance, calculation, and processing of corporate-calculated doctor commissions, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional Excel skills, strong financial acumen, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and routinely update the corporate-calculated Doctor Commissions spreadsheet, ensuring all key data points — such as new hires, terminations, rate changes, and commission adjustments — are accurately reflected.

Partner closely with the IT department to ensure seamless monthly updates through data interfaces and exchanges.

Perform calculations and thorough audits of commission data to ensure accuracy prior to submission for payroll processing.

Submit commission data to Payroll in a timely manner for inclusion in the appropriate pay cycle.

Monitor Fetch Task functionality for management-approved commission inputs; review, approve, and, if necessary, return submissions that are inaccurate or incomplete.

Manage the Commissions email inbox by researching and resolving inquiries efficiently and professionally.

Prepare and publish individual doctor commission statements in Dayforce for each pay period.

Maintain an issues tracking log to document discrepancies (overpayments/underpayments) and their root causes for management review.
What You Bring to the Role:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and mail merge functions.

Strong financial acumen, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to a culture of transparency.

A results-driven mindset with a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and actively contribute as a team player.

Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is highly preferred.
