Senior Financial Analyst
Job Overview:
This is a hybrid role and with a 3 day a week in office requirement at our HQ in Westport, CT.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is critical in the support of the creation, consolidation, and communication of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial results. The Financial Analysts will work closely with the Finance Manager and Director of Finance in support of monthly financial close, contribute to monthly and quarterly decks for Sr. Leadership. Work closely with Accounting and the FP&A team to track and analyze operating and financial performance. This position does not have any direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Partner to develop and maintain financial models in support of budgeting, financial closing, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Analyze and communicate weekly metrics, monthly and quarterly results, and annual projections.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and present financial reports to Senior Leadership and stakeholders.
- Support Ad-hoc analysis to evaluate new initiatives or shifts in business strategies and modeling outcomes of various business scenarios.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement streamlined reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify Budget and YoY variances and provide leadership and stakeholders with insights.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work simultaneously on multiple priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently and as a team-player across FP&A and multi-functional teams.
- Collaboration with Field Operations Team
- Collaborate with the Manager of Finance and Director of Finance to align financial goals and operational strategies.
- Provide financial guidance and support to field operations teams to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Participate in regular meetings with field support and leadership in support of maximizing Revenue, Center Operating Profit, and EBITDA
- Process Improvement
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Utilize technology and automation tools to streamline data mining, reporting, and analysis.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools
- Skills:
- Advanced Excel
- Office Products (Outlook, Word, Power Point)
- Deadline Management; Special Projects; Financial Trends; Financial Systems; Financial Performance; Analytical Thinking; Data Mining; Data Manipulation; Reporting
- Experience with Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, and Python a plus, but not required
