Client Service Representative / Receptionist (Part-Time)
Mt. Yonah Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, organized, and energetic Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients and patients, the receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and professional environment for both pets and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally.
- Answer multi-line phones and respond to inquiries courteously.
- Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately.
- Check clients in and out while maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate hospital policies, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions clearly.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Process payments and balance cash drawer daily.
- Handle prescription refill requests and client communications.
- Coordinate with doctors and technicians to ensure smooth appointment flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception and lobby area.
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary or medical front desk experience preferred.
- Strong customer service background required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (veterinary software experience a plus).
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Comfort working in an environment with animals of all sizes and temperaments.
Schedule
Rotating Saturdays and 1-2 weekdays
