Location: 945 W 124th Ave, Westminster, CO 80234 Schedule: Full-time, 4 ten-hour shifts per week (swing shift: 4 PM – 2 AM) Benefits: Generous benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education

About Us

At Northside Emergency Pet Clinic, we are a dedicated 24/7 emergency hospital located in Westminster, CO. Our team is passionate about providing compassionate and high-quality care to pets in need. We collaborate closely with referring veterinarians and have in-house specialists, including a radiologist and cardiologist, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Many of our team members have been with us for over 10 years! We have a commitment to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Position Overview

As an Emergency Registered Veterinary Technician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Patient Care: Conducting examinations, taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medications, and assisting with surgeries.
  • Diagnostic Support: Performing laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and assisting with emergency procedures.
  • Client Communication: Providing updates to pet owners and ensuring clear communication regarding patient status.
  • Medical Records: Accurately documenting patient information and maintaining up-to-date medical records.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring all medical equipment is properly maintained and sterilized.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with veterinarians and support staff to provide cohesive patient care.


Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology preferred.
  • Certification: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), or equivalent certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary care, preferably in emergency or critical care settings.
  • Skills: Proficiency in animal care, diagnostic procedures, and medical recordkeeping.
  • Attributes: Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Pay Range
$24$30 USD
