Customer Service Representative (Part-Time)
We are looking for a client-oriented service representative. A client service representative, or CSR, will act as a liaison, provide service information with accuracy and efficiency. We are seeking genuinely caring people to help our clients. Our perfect candidate will be patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. In addition, they will have the capacity to put themselves in our client's shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Problem-solving should come naturally. Our goal in finding the right candidate is to ensure excellent patient and client care.
Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Greet incoming emergency and specialty clients in a calm, empathetic, and efficient manner
- Identify and assess patient/client needs in appropriate order
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with clients through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Screen client complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of client interactions, process client accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Go above and beyond to ensure our clients feel welcome and that they are receiving the best possible care for their pet.
Skills
- Proven client service experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with PMS and practices
- Client orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school degree
- Previous Veterinary experience desired but not mandatory
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule:
- Mid Shift
- Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Must be able to work on holidays
Experience:
- Emergency Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service experience required
