Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technician
PetVet Care Centers' Providence South Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our strong team in Waxhaw, NC!
Our goal is customer satisfaction, and we are looking for some who has a passion for animals. Our ideal candidate should be able to work compassionately with clients and their pets. Prior veterinary experience is required. Job duties working closely with the veterinarians to perform duties. These duties include working with clients and pets (dogs, and cats,) by obtaining medical histories, safely restraining pets, venipuncture and catheter placements, client education, assisting with anesthesia monitoring, performing radiographs, answering the phone and helping with the front desk.
This is a Full-Time position.
Excellent team to work with, including Three-Four days a week, and every other Saturday.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Waxhaw, NC 28173: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Veterinary Technician/Assistant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Animal restraint: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
