Part-Time/1099 Veterinarian – RadioCat Arlington Heights, IL
Focus: Treatment of Feline Hyperthyroidism
RadioCat, the nation’s leading provider of safe, effective radioactive iodine (I-131) therapy for feline hyperthyroidism, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Veterinarian to join our Arlington Heights, IL team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a specialized patient population in a low-stress, highly rewarding clinical environment.
About the Role
As part of the RadioCat team, you will focus exclusively on diagnosing, evaluating, and treating hyperthyroid cats using I-131 therapy—the gold standard in curative treatment. If you enjoy building strong client relationships, appreciate predictable workflows, and want to make a life-changing difference for feline patients, this is an exceptional practice setting. This is a part time position, for someone looking for a great work/life balance.
Who We’re Looking For
- DVM/VMD with an active (or eligible) Illinois veterinary license
- A veterinarian who enjoys working with cats and communicating closely with dedicated pet owners
- Detail-oriented, calm, and comfortable following structured treatment protocols
- Prior internal medicine or feline practice experience is a plus, but recent graduates with strong mentorship needs are welcome to apply
