Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and results-oriented DVM Sourcing Manager to lead and scale our sourcing operations in support of our national veterinary recruitment efforts. As a key member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, this individual will own the end-to-end sourcing strategy for DVM roles, with a core focus on driving top-of-funnel performance, enhancing candidate engagement, and ensuring alignment between sourcing tactics and broader business objectives.

This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with RPO partners, digital sourcing vendors, and other external recruitment service providers. The DVM Sourcing Manager will oversee the execution of recruitment marketing campaigns, pipeline-building initiatives, and talent engagement strategies—leveraging technology, data, and market intelligence to continuously refine our approach. A key focus will be on driving performance through metrics: tracking lead volume, conversion rates, channel effectiveness, and ROI to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and operational expert—skilled in sourcing execution, vendor management, data analysis, and recruitment marketing. This role will be responsible for overseeing sourcing pipelines, driving candidate engagement, managing RPO performance, and ensuring all sourcing activities align with broader business objectives. This is a high-impact role designed to accelerate hiring outcomes, elevate our employer brand, and ensure that PetVet remains competitive in the race for veterinary talent.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing Strategy & Execution

  • Design and lead national sourcing strategies focused on attracting DVM candidates, both active and passive, through a mix of digital sourcing, direct outreach, referrals, partnerships, and events.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified DVM talent across key markets, leveraging CRM tools and candidate engagement platforms.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand hiring needs and ensure sourcing efforts are targeted and effective.

Vendor & RPO Management

  • Oversee day-to-day performance and strategic alignment of RPO partners, sourcing vendors, and third-party platforms.
  • Hold vendors accountable to SLAs, cost-per-hire metrics, lead volume, and conversion performance.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure outcomes are being met.

Data, Reporting & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze sourcing metrics (pipeline health, outreach effectiveness, cost-per-lead, source of hire) to inform strategies and adjust tactics in real-time.
  • Provide regular performance reporting and insights to TA leadership, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Leverage data to recommend new tools, technologies, or channels that improve pipeline quality and efficiency.

Recruitment Marketing & Brand Amplification

  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to drive targeted campaigns that elevate our visibility in the veterinary talent market.
  • Develop and execute email campaigns, sourcing events, job advertising strategies, and social media outreach tailored to DVM audiences.
  • Ensure all campaigns align with the organization’s tone, values, and Culture of Care.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on DVM sourcing best practices and competitive intelligence.
  • Act as a trusted partner to recruiting, operations, and field leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting operations, or talent acquisition, preferably within healthcare, veterinary, or multi-site environments.
  • Proven experience managing or collaborating with RPOs and sourcing vendors.
  • Demonstrated success in building candidate pipelines and leading sourcing campaigns with measurable ROI.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working in spreadsheets, dashboards, and ATS/CRM systems .
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering results in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
  • Clear and persuasive communicator—able to build trust and drive alignment across stakeholders.
