Small Animal and Exotics Veterinarian
About Us: South Wilton Veterinary Group is a 6 doctor small animal practice with a 50% avian and exotics caseload located in lower Fairfield County CT. We are seeking a full time associate with experience or a strong interest in avian and exotics practice. Our hospital is dedicated to providing top-tier medical, surgical, and wellness care for both dogs and cats as well as all exotic pets. We are equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house lab, therapeutic laser, and a surgical suite tailored for small and delicate species. We value a collaborative, team-oriented environment and are committed to providing excellent patient care and outstanding client service.
Position Overview: We are seeking a Full-Time Veterinarian (DVM) to join our growing team. Are you a passionate veterinarian looking to practice high quality medicine with a love for dogs and cats as well as avian and exotic species? Join our well-established, state-of-the-art small animal practice specializing in birds, reptiles, small mammals, and other exotic pets! We are happy to consider new graduates who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Passion for working with a variety of species, including exotics (previous experience with exotics is a plus, but not required).
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Open to new graduates with an eagerness to learn and grow.
