Veterinary Surgeon DACVS
Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson is seeking a second Board Certified Surgeon (DACVS) or residency trained clinician to join our team. VSCOT is a busy multi-Specialty hospital based out of an award-winning, 32,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. Base salary between $300,000-350,000 for experienced candidates.
Our hospital features a separate emergency entrance and lobby, 16 exam rooms and 4 surgical suites. We are fully equipped with video-endoscopy, mobile and stationary color-flow Doppler ultrasounds, a large central ICU with oxygen cage, Pulmonetics ventilator, Telemetry, portable ultrasound unit, in-house lab, spiral CT scanner (Toshiba 16 slice), 1.5 tesla Hallmarq Petvet MRI, and digital radiography, Iodine 131, Force Triad/LigaSure with numerous hand pieces, full complement of stapling equipment, Stryker arthroscopy/laparoscopy tower, Kyon and Biomedtrix total hip equipment, Synthes & Arthrex TPLO, Synthes LCP plating equipment (1.5 to 3.5), CO2 laser, operating microscope, and neurosurgical equipment.
Our compensation package includes starting base salaries between $300,000 - $350,000 with generous sign-on and relocation bonuses available.
