Emergency Veterinarian- Overnight

Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital is a combination primary care + emergency and critical care practice excited to add an overnight ER Veterinarian to our experienced team. We are open to our community 7 days a week, and provide a wide range of services from routine exams, vaccines and prevention, to diagnostics and emergency care.

What makes Western Carolina stand out?

  • AAHA accredited and VECCS Level 2 Certified Emergency and Critical Care facility
  • In house labs, digital radiographs (including dental), endoscopy, and laparoscopy capabilities
  • High earning potential with production bonus plans available
  • Great work/life balance with flexible scheduling
  • A team of highly experienced DVMs and support staff available to collaborate with
  • Relocation assistance is available!

We are located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains between the beautiful towns of Hendersonville and Flat Rock, North Carolina.  Enjoy practicing state of the art Veterinary medicine, while living in the recreational and cultural center of the mountains! There are an incredible number of outdoor opportunities here: hiking, mountain and road cycling, rock climbing, paddling, fishing and camping.  Life is a little bit slower in the mountains, so there is time to sip your coffee at a local cafe or enjoy a beer at one of the NC micro-breweries.

At Western Carolina, we take the health and well-being of our employees seriously, offering flexible working conditions and encouraging a well-rounded work/life balance. We offer a great compensation package with a competitive salary, health insurance, 401K, PTO, generous CE allowance, additional PTO for CE, and reimbursement for membership and license fees.
